Kayak trips supervised by a qualified instructor. There is a selection of 5 half-day and full-day day trips ranging in distance from 5 to 15 kilometers, that's 4 to 8 hours.
FULL DAY TRIP (SOUTH) – KOH LAO YA
We leave the pier near Koh Mapring in Salak Phet Bay and head down the coast to Long Beach. We land on the beach for a break and a swim for approximately 30 minutes. Leaving Long Beach we paddle across to Koh Lao Ya and we land there for lunch and snorkelling for 1 hour. Then we head back to our starting place, Koh Mapring.
The distance of this trip is approximately 11 Kilometers, and the time is about 7 hours. Start time on water is 09:00-09:30.
The price is 2,400THB per person. Half price for children.
HALF DAY TRIP (SOUTH) – KOH LAO YA
We leave the pier near Koh Mapring in Salak Phet Bay and head out past the island of Koh Sai Khao to Koh Loa Ya. We stop on the island for snorkeling and swimming and a bite to eat and rest for 1 hour. Then we head back to the start point at Koh Mapring.
Distance is approx: 8 Kilometers. Time is approx 4 hours. Start time is 10:00-10:30.
The price is 1,600THB per person. Half price for children.
FULL DAY TRIP (WEST) – KOH YOUAK
This day trip will take you around the islands located off Klong Prao and Kai Bae. Start off from the beach at Kai Bae and paddle to and around Koh Man Nai and then head for Koh Man Nok and Koh Pli. Paddle around Koh Youak then land on the beach for lunch and a few hours of snorkeling. Leave Koh Youak and head back to Kai Bae beach.
Distance is approx: 14 Kilometers. Time is approx 7 hours. Start time is 09:00-09:30.

HALF DAY TRIP (WEST) – KOH YOUAK
Start from beach at Kai Bae with a steady paddle past Koh Suwan island and then head out to Koh Youak. Paddle around Koh Youak island then land on the beach for one hour or so of snorkelling. Paddle back to Kai Bae.
Distance is approx 5 Kilometers. Time: approx 4 hours. Start time is 09:00-09:30.

FULL DAY TRIP (EAST) – SALAK KOK BAY
Leave pier at Koh Mapring near Salak Khok to paddle up coast to Long Beach for have a break for half hour or so. Then paddle out to the island of Koh Lao Yai to have lunch and opportunity for snorkelling and swim. Head back to our starting point at the pier at Koh Mapring. Distance about 11 km but only about 2 x one hour paddles or less depending on speed of paddlers and passing and seeing lots of the other islands in Sakak Phet Bay.
Distance is approx: 12 Kilometers. Time is approx 7 hours. Start time is 09:00-09:30.

All trips:
We can accommodate up to 4 people on one trip as a double and 2 single kayaks are usually used. The double is ideal for a couple or parent with child over 12 as it has rudders for easy direction control. You will need to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sunhat, short or long sleeved top. You can bring your own snorkeling kit if you have one, though this can be provided if you don't have one. A packed lunch (full day) or snack (half day) and water are provided. You should bring your own extras such as additional drinking water, energy drink etc. Pick up from and return to your resort is included.
